I have used Rickys Mot station for the past 3 years with my Focus ST. Ricky and the team are really friendly and welcoming. The workshop looks really nice and clean and Ricky is a real nice Guy to deal with. Having housed my car in the garage for the last year because of the COVID crisis. I decided to put this back on the road. I asked around where was the best place to deal with this and was recommended to RICKYS by another customer,
My wife usually drives the car and as I am disabled and live fairly locally RICKY collected and serviced the vehicle and did the MOT on it.
Having met RICKY its as if I had known him for years, A pleasant personality who was very helpful and knowledgeable and brought the car back later that day.
My wife was impressed by the way a plastic bag was over the seat. This had never been done before over the years.
I would strongly recommend RICKY to all, and will be using his services again.

First time I have been here and I must say I’m glad I did, After losing a mechanic I used for years and then having a couple of bad experiences, I am so please with the job they done on my brakes discs and new caliper, Rick is a really nice bloke who advised me all the way with prices and any further work that was needed with no pressure, Genuine nice guy and all the staff are very friendly and I can’t recommended enough. I will be using there fast, Reliable, Honest and friendly services again

Had problems trying to obtain an exhaust system for my suzuki cappuccino no longer available from suzuki .was messed about by two so called exhaust specialist but eventually put in touch with Rickys. nothing was to much trouble,the car was taken in and examined and the parts ordered and as soon as they arrived the job was completed.the car is now back to its old self and running very well.my thanks to all at Ricks.

First time doing an mot and went kwik fit this was a huge mistake they are rip off ass holes after they tried to charge me 600 quid for a fix they initially said was easy and on the low end of problems! I told people about it and everyone told me how they got ripped off at kwik fit and how kwik fit always rips people off I thought great I just went to these con artists to fix my car now what but I kept hearing rickys mot pop up and people saying go there they’re brilliant so I did exactly that and Ricky sorted my car out no problem I only had to pay for the diagnostic he also done my mot and I was on my way. Couldn’t fault the place friendly atmosphere and people, if you don’t want to get ripped off and want an honest valuation on your motors problems go to these people!

Great and efficient MOT and service from a really honest and decent mechanic. Car wasn’t in the best condition before it went in and was apprehensive about what it would need. Ricky was upfront about what needed and did it really quickly. I couldn’t recommend enough. Great fella, great work.

Sadly the garage I always went to closed down. For me finding a good garage is as hard as finding a Dentist you trust. Thankfully Rickys isn’t far from me so I popped in there for small job that took a few minutes and for which he refused payment!
Back there today for MOT and coffee while waiting.

I was first introduced to Ricky’s Garage by my son-in-law Ray who lives in Roydon. I asked him did he know a ‘good Mechanic’ & he said yes, that Ricky looks after all the cars & work vans for me ! He said you won’t meet a ‘nicer bloke’ anywhere . . . . . And, boy was he right ?? I am a little old Girl on my own, and have been driving for about 40 years, and I can certainly say I have never ever met a fellow as nice as Ricky, or his crew . . . . . He is welcoming, pleasant, extraordinarily generous and the quality of the work is second to none !!!I have met many a Mechanic in my time who’ll stand there ‘sucking their teeth’ all because they want to get an extra bit of work out of it & charge you more – not Ricky . . . He is so obliging, and the number of times he has done little jobs for me, and when I go to pay he say’s no you’re fine !
I defy anyone to find a nicer bloke in this industry, and recommend him highly !! I travel from Wickford to Harlow to get my Car serviced, MOT’D & that’s almost 50 miles, so to my mind that says everything ! Many thanks Ricky & your team !

I would like to say what excellent service I have received since coming to this garage. I have been trying so hard to find such an excellent place over the years I had many cars serviced and MOTed. ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT SERVICE.

This garage and its staff was a rare find. Polite, friendly and very welcoming, especially the 2 coffees. Ricky squeezed me in for an mot, it failed but no fee. Rick will be carrying out the repairs for me, then retesting, then a pass should be in order. A round of applause for the staff. Thank you.

Well at times one reads these verifications and think it’s all fixed . Oh well I’ve been proven wrong in this case. Slick Rick and his team made me a bespoke stainless steel exhaust for a classic car, superfast. Its a great job, and adds to the value of my car. The attention to detail and service was also excellent, great tea too.
